2023 has been a quiet year for the Clemens Reutter Hut. Fortunately the hut was not in need of repairs or investments. Due to the massive amounts of snow during the winter and into the spring Kurt Schwager was able to fill up the water tanks very early on in the season, and there was also a fair amount of rain during the summer. This meant that we never had the fear of not having enough water.
Once again we were able to offer the Hut to the SOS Kinderdorf for 5 weeks, as we have done for many years. And once again the SOS children and their staff had a wonderful time, as shown in their reports. (See German version under “Helfer”)
Our caretaker, Kurt Schwager and his wife Stefanie were tremendous. They are also mentioned in every single report! We are enormously grateful to the Schwagers that they have taken on this role and for their dedication to this project. They are an integral part to the success of this venture.
